When and where is ferry service provided?
Vallejo Baylink Ferry departures run to and from San Francisco with departures
from three terminals: Vallejo Ferry
Terminal, SF Ferry Building
and Fisherman's Wharf (Pier 41)
in San Francisco. Ferry service is provided every day of the year except Thanksgiving
Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day.

How long is the trip?
Give yourself at least 20 minutes at the terminals to park your car or load
your bike, purchase tickets and come aboard. Vallejo Baylink Ferry departures
run to and from San Francisco - 60 minutes each way. Vallejo Baylink
departures leave on time.

How is ferry service provided?
Service is provided by four high-speed catamaran ferry vessels
which seat 320 passengers (267 passengers on the M/V VALLEJO). Passengers
enjoy convenient scheduling, full ADA
accessibility.

Do I need reservations?
Ferry capacity is limited to 300 passengers (267 passengers on the M/V VALLEJO)
and seating is provided on a first come - first served basis. Reservations
are not required or taken. Tickets are required before boarding the Ferries.
Please arrive at your terminal with enough time to park and purchase tickets
before coming aboard. All tickets are nonrefundable.

Where do I buy tickets?
Tickets are sold at Vallejo Ferry Terminal ticket office, local Safeway stores,
Bay Crossings the SF Ferry Building, Vallejo Transit, 1850 Broadway, and Blue
& Gold Fleet at SF Pier 41 terminal. Online ticket sales are also available
in a limited capacity through Blue & Gold Fleet. Tickets are required before
boarding the Ferries. All tickets are nonrefundable.

Are reservations required for large groups?
Reservations are not required or taken, but we ask that groups
of 15 or more passengers call us in advance so we can be prepared. Please

How much does it cost for children to ride the ferry?
Up to two toddlers aged 0-5 may ride free with a fare-paying adult. Additional
children may ride at the Youth fare.

Are commuter checks accepted?
Commuter checks are accepted only at the Vallejo
Ferry Terminal.

Are the ferries accessible to person with disabilities?
Vallejo's ferry vessels are accessible to wheelchairs and provide a wheelchair
accessible restroom. Our friendly deck hands are happy to provide any assistance
necessary to frail, hearing impaired, vision impaired, or any other passenger
requiring assistance.
Persons with disabilities are encouraged to obtain a Regional Transit Discount
Card to show eligibility for reduced
rate fares.

Is there parking available?
Ample free parking is available at the Vallejo
Ferry Terminal directly across Mare Island Way from the Terminal. The
parking lots on the west side of Mare Island Way, immediately to the north
and to the south of the Vallejo Ferry terminal are limited to 3 hours only.
Limited parking is available at the San
Francisco Ferry Terminal, passengers are encouraged to utilize alternative
transportation modes when boarding at the S.F. Ferry Building. Parking is
available at an hourly fee in the parking garage located directly across Embarcadero
from Pier 39 in San Francisco.

Is there overnight parking available?
Overnight parking is available at the Vallejo
Ferry Terminal and Pier 41
(the Pier 39 garage). Parking in public parking lots is at your own risk.

Are bicycles allowed on board?
Bicycles are allowed on board the
ferry vessel, unless conditions or passenger loads preclude the safe transport
of bicycles on Baylink.

Do the ferries operate on holidays?
Vallejo Baylink provides ferry service every day of the year except for the
following holidays: New Year's Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. View

What Transit Systems connect with the ferry?
Most passengers connect to either MUNI
or to BART. For the MUNI
F-Line streetcar, the station is right out in front of the SF Ferry Building.
For other MUNI train lines, and for BART, head to the Embarcadero Station
one block from the Ferry Building up Market Street near the intersection with
Main Street. Ferry passengers may also pick up the famous SF Cable Car at

How do I use the BART to get from the airport (SFO) to the San Francisco Ferry
Building to take a Baylink ferry to Vallejo?
A: It's very easy to get from the airport (SFO) to the ferry terminal downtown
San Francisco using BART. At the airport walk to the BART boarding platform
and board heading toward San Francisco. Off board at the Embarcadero Street
station (32 minute ride) and then walk to the San Francisco Ferry Building (about

Are Pets Allowed?
Service animals are allowed onboard the ferry when accompanied by a person whose
disability requires use of the animal. Pets are also allowed on all City of
Vallejo ferries and buses in accordance with the pet
and service animal policy.
